Grilling cheese sandwiches

Give the grill cheese an extra-crispy crust with a breadcrumb coating to make a crunchy snack or appetiser. An easy recipe that is also suitable for a summer barbecue or a vegetarian dish.

Method:

Slice the grilling cheese and grill on a very hot grill pan for 2-3 min. on each side.
Split the rolls and toast the cut surfaces.

Roughly cut the tomato and turn the pieces in the oil, garlic, salt and pepper.

Part the ripe avocados and “spread” the avocado on the rolls.

Place the lettuce, grilling cheese, tomato mixture and jalapeños peppers on the sandwich and close while the bread is still warm.
