Grilling cheese sandwiches
Try this easy recipe on a sandwich or with grilling cheese. The sandwich is quick to prepare and a good alternative to a burger on meat-free days, or as a light and crisp experience of the simple yet aromatic taste of the Mediterranean.
Slice the grilling cheese and grill on a very hot grill pan for 2-3 min. on each side.
Split the rolls and toast the cut surfaces.
Roughly cut the tomato and turn the pieces in the oil, garlic, salt and pepper.
Part the ripe avocados and “spread” the avocado on the rolls.
Place the lettuce, grilling cheese, tomato mixture and jalapeños peppers on the sandwich and close while the bread is still warm.
