Ingredients:

  • 1 tub of Taverna marinated salad cheese
  • 300 g steamed cod (cold)
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche or similar
  • ½ clove of garlic, finely grated
  • 1 tsp grated organic lemon zest
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Approx. 100 g lettuce, finely shredded
  • Pitta or sliced bread

Herby cod salad with white cheese

This is an easy recipe for a cod salad that works well as a quick dinner, an appetiser for your lunch box or as a simple lunch for your guests.

Method:

Flake the cod by pressing it. Put the flakes in a bowl and mix carefully with the herb-marinated salad cheese and marinade.

Add the garlic and lemon zest to the crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper, and mix carefully with the cod and salad cheese.

Serve in pitta bread with finely shredded lettuce or as a filling in a tasty sandwich.
