Ingredients:

  • 180 g Taverna Classic salad cheese
  • 2 tins of good tuna in oil
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • ½ lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, coarsely chopped
  • Fresh lettuce
  • Pitta or sliced bread

Tuna salad with white cheese and flat-leaf parsley

This is an easy and tasty tuna salad that works well as a starter or as a healthy and filling salad for your lunch box.

Method:

Drain the tuna and break into chunks.

Mix with the capers, lemon juice and olive oil, then season to taste with salt and pepper.

Crumble the salad cheese and mix with the tuna and flat-leaf parsley.

Serve in pitta bread with lettuce or as a filling in a delicious lunch sandwich using toasted bread.
